Maybelline Hyperglossy Liquid Liner- Review Swatch EOTD

3 Feb

Hello beautiful people,

I had been thinking of posting this review loooong back, wonder why I didn’t….any hoo….here it is 🙂

I am reviewing a liquid eyeliner from Maybelline New York- Hyperglossy Liquid Liner in Black.

Maybelline Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner

Price:

Rs. 225 for 3 grams.

It comes in a stylish little black triangle bottle- very sleek 🙂 and has a felt tip brush.

The felt tip reminds me of L’oreal Superliner Carbon Gloss, though this one is kinda wobbly, but I could use it well after practicing it once/twice. The felt tip helps in making thin lines -ideal for making flicks.

Single coat gives a nice glossy finish and the ‘just applied’ look.

All in all it is a good product for the price, ideal for make up beginners and cat eye novice…

My Views:

Yays:

  • Pretty packaging
  • Easy to use brush/felt tip brush
  • Very decently priced
  • Glossy finish
  • Gives a freshly applied look

Nays:

  • Low staying power
  • Need to get used to the tip-not as firm as Revlon Colorstay Liner’s felt tip

For this price I think its a very decent product. Must Try!

Cheers,

Maitri 🙂

Hello Everyone,

What Colorbar says…

Ultimate Eyeliner by Colorbar is a unique product which is perfect for defining your eyes in a lightning speed without any application difficulty. Its professional flexible brush offers great accuracy to line and define the eyes, ensuring an even application.

Price: Rs. 499/- for 1 ml

Colorbar Ultimate Eyeliner Italian Green is a felt tip eyeliner ‘pen’ in beautiful teal-green color. It offers ease of application and glides on effortlessly.

It hasn’t dried out (as yet) and the tip is really sharp-so its great for making winged liner 🙂 For Rs. 499/-, it is a bit pricey, but its worth it because of its color, formula and pigmentation.

It is available in Black and there’s a gorgeous ‘French Blue’ as well.

Highly recommended!

Report Card:

Yays:

  • B-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l colour 🙂
  • Super easy to use felt tip liner-great for beginners or winged liner novice 😛
  • Formula doesn’t dry out (like other felt tip liners 😉 )
  • Good staying power
  • Water resistant not waterproof (it might be a con for some, pro for others)
  • Doesn’t create raccoon eyes when splashed with water –as many of us remove make-up with water and face wash/soap

Nays:

  • Rs. 499/- for 1 ml product is expensive

Score: 4.75/5
